On Friday, we went to what is likely my favorite museum in the whole wide world The Thyssen-Bornemisza. I went there two months after it opened in 1992 and have wonderful tender memories about it. I remember that that time, we walk in fron of it, I was with a friend named Aurora, and saw the huge line and decided instead to go to a gallery that had drawings by Goya. Afterwards we saw the line had diminished and went in, but after the first floor we were famished, so we ate in the cafeteria and surprisingly we had a wonderful meal. I wonder if Aurora remembers it as fondly as I do. This time I showed the museum to my wife and kids and it is as great as I remembered it. After the museum we rested for a while and met my good friends Dragan and Paloma. Dragan went to U of Michigan at the same time I did, then fell in love with Paloma got married and moved to Spain. We had a grand time, alas, no more pictures as they were not permitted in the museum. Don't criticize me, I am never the photographer.
