Steve Rawley notes an interesting new Kodak printer, although it apparently lacks driver support for Mac OS X:
"I saw that the Kodak Pro 8500 Dye-Sub will print true 8x10 images and sell for less than $1000! It will be released in May.
It says 'Windows and Macintosh' but the drivers are for OS 9 only. I have emailed Kodak asking for OSX support. "
