Unknown illness stumps coalition doctors in Afghanistan

Airshow Finishes Artegra SACDs
Boulder, CO (May 16, 2002)--Twin Cities-based Artegra Records, a
new label specializing in high-resolution, surround sound SACD
titles, is due to release its first three multichannel titles in June. The
two jazz discs, The Sound of Water by the Pete Whitman Quintet,
The Bridge by Chris Lomheim, plus Akta Spelman's Swedish Fiddle
Music, were recently finished and mastered by David Glasser of
Airshow Mastering. [ProSound News] David is a pioneer in multichannel SACDs.

Dave Green offered this tip about the most recent version of BIAS's PEAK audio editing program:
"Users of previous versions of Peak who also use Premiere-compatible plug-ins
will be disappointed to learn that their plug-ins will not work with Peak 3.0. Bias has apparently dropped support for everything but VST plug-ins in
this latest version. Don't waste your money if you plan to continue to use non-VST plug-ins like
Arboretum's Ionizer or Ray Gun."

Add a photo enhancement tool to iPhoto [Mac OS X Hints] 'It seems there is a hidden feature in iPhoto 1.1.1 called "Enhance" that tries to do some color balancing and white point correction. This feature is disabled by Apple, but can easily be enabled by anyone with the Developer Tools.'
