Fostex Japan Becomes First Digigram EtherSound Licensee

Is Dolby the Microsoft of the audio world? It's a question I've been asking for a while.

According to eWeek, Jim Allchin, a senior exec at Microsoft says that "sharing information with competitors could damage national security and even threaten the U.S. war effort in Afghanistan. He later acknowledged that some Microsoft code was so flawed it could not be safely disclosed." Best thing to do is to shut them down now. It's a defense issue is it? Oh my god. What hubris. Corporate death penalty time.  [Scripting News]
More proof - as though any were needed - that you should be suspicious of anything that comes out of the mouth of a Microsoft exec. How can these guys live with themselves?
