LA Times on The Conference of Hate Continuing to be one of the only large media outlets covering it (I cannot find only others via Google News), the LA Times has an editorial attacking the Arab League for participating in the recent anti-Semitic conference organised by the Zayed Center for Coordination and Follow-Up. Arab press reports on the conference include the moronic comments that Arabs could not be anti-Semitic since they are Semites. It is surprising that they are denying they are anti-Semitic since by reading the reports on the conference, hating Jews was clearly the main goal. 11:16:38 PM ![]() |
Defense Minister Benjamin Ben Eliezer said that the fence between Israel and parts of the West Bank is proceeding on schedule and the first 115 km will be done by July 2003. Over 200 pieces of heavy equipment are being used in the construction. A detailed description of the fence, which is actually a series of physical barriers, roads, and sensors, is given in a Boston Globe article. 11:00:08 PM ![]() |

The Toronto Star has an article on the Toronto International Film Festival’s showing of The Baroness And The Pig, a Canadian made film that is being delivered to the Festival via a satellite and projected by a digital projectors. The article notes the main problem with the use of digital projectors; the film distributors save money by no longer needing to distribute physical copies of movies while it is the theatre companies that would need to pay for the new projectors. 10:52:12 PM ![]() |
