Down the Memory Hole Realizing that Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah’s speech calling for the worldwide spread of "the culture of suicide bombing" was showing even fence sitting governments such as Canada’s that it’s goal was worldwide terror and genocidal attacks on Jews, Hizbullah is attempting to destroy all references to it. As a result some people and organizations such as the Toronto Star’s Antonia Zerbisias and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Neil Macdonald are accepting Hizbullah’s claims that this statement was not true. As a temporary member of the UN Security Council, Syria opposed a resolution commending the terrorist acts last month against Israeli targets in Kenya. As a the sole 14-1 holdout, Syria lost as the council urged all 191 UN member nations "to cooperate in efforts to find and bring to justice the perpetrators, organizers and sponsors of these terrorist attacks."
