Mr Hawkins absolutely nails it!
"I have one major problem with the Berman-Coble bill - the Fourth Amendment."
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.Bravo and thank you Alwin!

Houston Chronicle: SPAMMED! PART I: A costly war of attrition [Rodent Regatta < Slashdot]
Steve (Rodent Regatta) asks about various anti-spam softwares: "So much for price - which one works best?" I've been using SpamNet for about 6 weeks and think it's excellent. It catches virtually all spam messages and places them in a folder so that I can quickly scan the subject lines before deleting them. The few messages it doesn't catch allow me the pleasure of reporting to the network (by selecting the message and clicking the [Block] button. After doing so, thousands of other users benefit because the software will now catch those spams for them. It's collaborative and so far, so good! I have a number of published email addresses and receive anywhere from 40 to 150 UCEs per day - this solution really helps dealing with it...
