Request for Beta Testers from Macromedia.

"Macromedia has been working on a new Flash technology that simplifies the process of connecting a Flash movie to popular web application server technologies. The code name for this technology is Salsa. We're looking for beta testers who will help us test Salsa connecting Flash to .NET or to IBM WebSphere applications. If you are interested in participating in our beta, please sign up at http://betaprograms.macromedia.com/salsa ."

Remember to read the agreement when you sign up, there's some non-disclosure stuff on there and the public discussion of beta software is off limits.

Flash MX 3D Engine - an very nice 3D engine with full source - check out the demos, but be advised - fast machines needed! This is an great example of the advanced applications that can be built in MX.
