Flash & Open Source - a thread on Slashdot commenting on the lack of open source tools for Flash. Lots of 'Flash is bad' talk with a few 'Flash is good' comments thrown in ;)

There's plenty of server side Flash tools out there - it's the lack of Flash animation tools I think the guy is be-moaning. The open source movement is not that great at developing software for non-geeks so a free (as in beer) Flash authoring tool is probably not going to appear any time soon... (duck to avoid massive flames)

Fonts for Flash - There's been a load of discussion about pixel fonts in Flash recently, maybe these guys can solve some of the problems people are having - although miniml.com fonts are still getting rave reviews.  Haven't tried them myself yet, tell us what you thought if you've used them.
