"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

If these stinking Democrats want to get elected, they should *do* something, not just talk.

First thing I'd do is take on the INS. There's an organization that is over-the-top, psychotically, inexcusably out of control.

All the Democrats should just insist that the INS get its act together. It's completely intolerable the way people are being treated. It's a situation where pressure by some Senators could make a difference.

So Feinstein/Edwards/Lieberman/etc.: Fix this, or resign and let someone who will lead take your places.

Satire is dead: Saddam challenges Bush to a debate.

OK. That leaves one-on-one combat to satire. But one-on-one combat isn't as funny: first because Bush wouldn't stand a chance in hell in a knife fight, but mostly because it would be so hilarious to see the stupid media whores talk about who "won" the debate.
