This should also be a huge boon for wireless computing, as I see a market for aftermarket replacement antennas for base stations, as well as improving the range on adapter cards inside existing systems.

Microsoft Says Xbox Could Scratch Discs. Microsoft said its new Xbox video game machine can scratch game discs used in it although the damage doesn't hurt the game performance or video quality. [The New York Times: Technology]

Interesting... I recall a friend of mine had a similar problem with his Playstation 2 when it first came out. I wonder if they are made in the same factory, or if it is the same supplier's part that is causing this.
