I have a friend that is single handely reinflateing the dot.com bubble. This story from News.com is about some of the others who are starting over with a focus on fundamentals. Kind of like blocking practice."Gone is the giddiness of the bubble years; it's been replaced by a no-nonsense approach." Ultemently business is about the customer.

WorldCom hiring CEO headhunter. The telecommunications giant is in the process of hiring executive search firm Spencer Stuart to replace the bankrupt company's ousted head, Bernie Ebbers, according to a source. [CNET News.com]
Maybe fox can make a television show like survivor where we get to choose the next CEO of WorldCom. He would have to know more about technology than bernie?

I was going to post a link to a weblog entry from Adam Curry's daughter then stopped when wondering what are the social norms for such a thing when it can effect one's children? Those are some of the questions I am still struggling with today while waithing for boy number 2 to join us here on earth. Am I the only one with a anticipation of both joy and fear for the day when My boy knows more about this Internet thing than I do?
