Tara Grubb makes a streaming video. She is extremely smooth. What I really like about Tara is her willingness to use technology to augment her ability to directly connect with people. Technology leverages interactions. The combination of her weblog, direct video responses (as often as issues develop), discussion group interaction, etc. is a HUGE step in the right direction.
This allows her to interact with thousands of people daily rather than the handful a person can normally interact with. It also increases the frequency of interactions based on timely developments. In many ways it eliminates the "what does my representative think about this issue" problem.
Guys like Coble (as described by his staff), Tara's opponent in this election, can't even turn a computer on. What's worse is that he is actively engaging as a committee chair in making policy for the Internet and related businesses.
Tara is on the right track. She has the energy, poise, and commitment to do great things in the future. If not this election, then a one down the road. [John Robb's Radio Weblog]
