Oooh boy. A big huge solar flare from "Sunspot 930" has sent a "coronal mass ejection towards Earth."

We all know what that means: fabulous Nothern Lights. And Auroral Forecast is predicting a light show tonight and tomorrow night. Now, if the weather will just cooperate.

Peter picked up the new CD, Love. Love is a CD of re-mixed Beatles songs. The songs were developed for Cirque de Soleil's new production, "Love". The re-mixes are all Beatles - no other artists. It's as if many of the layers were taken from recording sessions or alternate recordings. The end product is fabulous - absolutely fabulous.

My favorite cut on the album is "My Guitar Gently Weeps". Wow. George Harrison at his absolute unplugged best.

My opinion has been reinforced - that the Beatles are the greatest pop group, ever. Musically they were so inventive and man did they progress in ten short years. And their lyrics are just spot on.

Young@Heart Sing Coldplay
An affecting (without being overly sentimental) video of a senior citizens choral group performing Coldplay's "Fix You". I was reminded of Johnny Cash's incredible cover and video of Nine Inch Nail's "Hurt". There are certain songs, when sung at the end of life, that have a much deeper meaning.
