Someone said something about bein’ afeared o’ certain contingencies occurrin’ in their near vincinissitudes. Walp, Mike, pardner, it’s time to lock up yer wallet, bucko.

[ps: Thinking of the more positive side to this, perhaps the combined might of the Genius Bar will be able to keep your setup going, eh? (I am so going to blog hell.)]

Speaking of comics and cartoons, I read somewhere that Dan Povenmire is directing a new set of Looney Tunes shorts. I met him once or twice when I was a freshman or sophomore at USC. He was still hanging around campus, though I think he had graduated, selling compilations: I was a big fan of his Life is a Fish comic strips in—don’t laugh—The Daily Trojan. Okay, go ahead, laugh. I have tried over the years to follow up on his career, thinking he would be a comic artist or syndicated strip writer, but he went the animation route, which makes his USC career make sense. Mine never did. He had credits for several Rocko’s Modern Life episodes in various roles, and a director’s credit for an episode of The Family Guy.
