Sun's Java Web Services Developer Pack (WSDP) is a release that aims to simplify the creation of web services in Java.  In practice, the WSDP is four XML-oriented Java API's and a few tools that make creating and accessing web services calls more straightforward from within Java.   These API's are layered on core Java capabilities that have been able to implement web services for a long time. [gtb]
