On a whim, I told my UTV to record The City of Lost Children on SciFi a couple of days ago. I first saw this movie at the 24 Hour Science Fiction Movie Marathon in 1996. Anyway, I started to watch it tonight while I was sitting on the couch with my new computer. It was dubbed... damn.

Considering Mike Chandler's experiment with Windows vs. Linux security and Rick Klau's comments on this experiment and my recent post, one might conclude that the OS for which there is a significant organized effort behind finding, fixing, and delivering updates would be more secure in the long run.

Still, there can be incredible strength in a community effort. I'm not hooked into the Linux world. Can someone who is answer: is the effort underway?
