A. Community, to the extent it involves care, involves connections, recognitions, impressions, recollections and the like that go far beyond the mere empirical "interaction" of two or more selves. I have entirely forgotten many people that I've met; I've never lost the trace of the blend of self and form that a lovely girl in Italy, a dog on a beach in the Caribbean, a musical phrase left with me. Traces that remain are marks of community.
B. AKMA talks of the asymptote of community - rightly so, since asymptotes are the possibilities that defy mathematical impossibility.
