While the mechanics will take some time, and my hard form will need still to be untrained, watching Sensei Irene tonight, I understood the purpose behind the Aikido movements, in a way that I don't think I may ever have understood through training alone. While I hope that this will be a humblingly important journey, I need to temper my excitement with the reality that this takes work and time, like anything else. 7:40:10 PM
