I went to San Francisco today to meet some of the DUX2005 committee and check out the venue. I've never been to Fort Mason before; driven by, been in the neighborhood (it's at the other end of the Marina from the St. Francis YC, where I sailed long ago). Fort Mason is right across the street from the notorious Marina Safeway. The Fort Mason staff was bending over backwards to make things work for us, like arranging wifi for conference participants. It's going to be a great conference. Be there, and don't miss the opening night reception, sponsored by BayDUX.
