Wilma went from TS to Cat 5 over night, setting a record for the lowest pressure ever in the Atlantic: 882 mb. That's like off the bottom of the barometer. . . look out Florida.

I've taken to watching the updates at the Central Florida Hurricane Center, which has dandy satellite photos, commentary, and awesome animations of how the various hurricane track models line up. Cool to watch from over here on the earthquake coast.
