I said yesterday that Jared Spool's Brain Sparks Audio Library wasn't really a podcast. Silly me, I should have looked more closely before passing judgment. If I'd been more careful I would have seen that the MP3 file is indeed within an enclosure; and if I grab the RSS feed and plug it in to iPodderX, voila, there it is in iTunes! I should know better: just because it's not labeled as a podcast doesn't mean it's not a podcast. Pretty sneaky, Jared. . .
And if you haven't seen/heard Jared's spiel on "What Users Want," it's well worth the listen (yes, even if you have heard it before). His research findings should be of interest to all of us who profess to produce and care about content. Know thy user, indeed. Good stuff.
