Sigh. Ever since I visited Tonga 25 years ago, I've been threatening to buy a little island there when I retire. With deals like this, it's getting very, very tempting to move up that retirement:
No, you can't start your own country there, and it's actually only 3 acres on an 800-acre island, with a 50-year lease. I think that would be long enough. . .
