NASA and the First Amendment Let's see if I have this straight: A political-appointee public-affairs officer at NASA says that NASA should be teaching religion, not science, and he still has a job? Outrage at attacks on NASA science. [Bad Astronomy Blog] Meanwhile, Time magazine has a cover story asking "Is America flunking science?" If the answer is yes, is there any question why?
