The need for sleep is starting to interfere with my life. Today is the first day of my quest to score some Modafinil without a prescription. If you haven't heard of it, this is how it is being touted:
- Non-addictive
- Non-amphetamine
- Eliminates reductions of cognitive ability and performance caused by lack of sleep.
- Does not interfere with normal sleep cycle
- Prescription drug for people with Narcolepsy, Parkinsons, MS
- Non-mood altering
- Works by replacing that which is normally replenished by sleep.
- would produce a positive result in anti-doping tests for athletes.
Briefly, it is a way to go without sleep and not lose cognitive ability or feel wired. Lately, the military has been experimenting with it to keep soldiers on alert for long periods of time. I just want to try it out. There are a few reports on the internet by people who have tried it when they weren't suffering from one of the illnesses it is indicated for:
I want to test it out to see if I can just use it to stay up all night making my scene and not have to feel like an alien the next day. There is a source from an island in the English Channel that will ship me some. I have to buy quite a bit of it from them and I am not prepared to invest that kind of money for something that might be a rip-off. I don't know any doctors who would be dumb enough to assist me. I either need an off-shore source or I need to find a particularly unethical doctor or maybe a narcoleptic who will let me try some. Maybe I should try going in with a bunch of people to order from outside of the country. No one I approached about it will listen to my logic of, "The military is experimenting with it so it must be safe" And then there is this link to Modafinil on an Anti-aging site with lots of references.
