I really don't want to pack for moving. . .I have identified the reason for this. . .it's because everywhere I look, I'm reminded of who used to live here with me and why I moved here and why I'm moving. . .every little thing I pick up pretty much has some sort of significance. . .and I'm not dealing with that very well so as is my usual mode of behavior, I'm repressing it and refusing to pack. . .this sucks. . .it seems to be in the air though as you can see here, and here. . .and I reiterate, this sucks. . .

So apparently I'm the 26th site on the list if you do a search for cunnilingus at AllTheWeb. . .some poor person got sent over here for that today. . .so if you're still around, here's the story that brought you here. . .but I'm sorry I couldn't provide more information than that. . .

Here is the text of the memorandum from the cheese-eating surrender monkeys opposing the US policy in Iraq. . .it's pretty much ridiculous. . .Fisking follows:

    While suspicions remain, no evidence has been given that Iraq still possesses weapons of mass destruction or capabilities in this field;

Right except for all the anthrax, sarin and whatnot that we knew they had before and that they haven't proven that they destroyed. . .not to mention the fact that everyone is so scared of Saddam using chemical and biological weapons on our troops when they attack even though he doesn't have them. . .hmmmm

    Inspections have just reached their full pace; they are functioning without hindrance; they have already produced results;

What results have the produced if Saddam doesn't have any big, bad weapons of mass destruction? The more I read, the more I just want to throw my hands up and give up. . .but that would be so French of me. . .

    While not yet fully satisfactory, Iraqi cooperation is improving, as mentioned by the chief inspectors in their last report.

Umm improving isn't what the resolutions call for. . .Iraq is supposed to be supplying full cooperation. . .the only reason that things are improving is because the BBs (Bush and Blair) continue to rattle sabres. . .Like any violent person, Saddam only responds to violence and the threat of violence. . .improving indeed. . .I have a craving for a crossiant. . .

    The Security Council must step up its efforts to give a real chance to the peaceful settlement of the crisis.

Like we haven't been doing that during the last 12 years. . .

    The unity of the Security Council must be preserved.

Right, so that France doesn't become irrelevant. . .wait a minute. . .they already are. . .

    The pressure that is put on Iraq must be increased.

I agree. . .I think it should be increased using random letters and numbers. . .I pick B-2, M-1A, and the 101st. . .

    These conditions can be met, and our common objective — the verifiable disarmament of Iraq — can be reached through the implementation of the following proposals:

    A) Clear program of action for the inspections:

Holy sweet mother of the Mona Lisa, how much clearer can we make it to you people? It was completely clear in 1991 and it's completely clear now. . .I can just see Saddam sitting in one of his palaces and he's completely confused by the ambiguity of what he's supposed to be doing with his non-existent WMDs. . .It's just not clear enough. . .right. . .

    B) Reinforced inspections:

Yeah reinforced by the same random letters and numbers above. . .

    C) Timelines for inspections and assessment:

For the love of the Louvre, the timelines are out there, laid out clearly in 1991 and in resolution 1441. . .for those of you scoring at home, Saddam had 15 days or so in 1991 to surrender all weapons. . .didn't happen. . .he's clearly in breach of the timelines set forth in 1441. . .what the cheese-eating surrender monkeys and their pacifist Old Europe cronies want here is a timeline for making sure that Saddam stays in power forever. . .and a timeline for making the Americans look like nincompoops. . .If I ever buy anything French again, please shoot me. . .

    The chief inspectors shall report to the Council on implementation of the program of work on a regular basis (every three weeks);

Every three weeks to infinity. . .I win. . .This is becoming a bad Dilbert cartoon. . .

    At any time, according to paragraph 11 of Resolution 1441, the executive chairman of Unmovic and the Director General of the I.A.E.A. shall report immediately to the Council any interference by Iraq with inspections activities as well as failure by Iraq to comply with its disarmament obligations;

Except that we'll ignore it. . .like we're doing now. . .Iraq isn't complying? la la la la la la la. . .I can't hear you!! . . .la la la. . .I surrender all. . .la la la la. . .

    At any time, additional meetings of the Security Council could be decided, including at high level.

As opposed to the current low level it's sunk to recently. . .

    To render possible a peaceful solution, inspections should be given the necessary time and resources. However, they cannot continue indefinitely.

Indefinitely is such a subjective term. . .what does that mean really?

    The combination of a clear program of action, reinforced inspections, a clear timeline and the military buildup provide a realistic means to reunite the Security Council and to exert maximum pressure on Iraq.

Strangely, we've done all these things. . .so from now on, the new nickname for the French will be the "willfully ignorant of obvious situations, cheese-eating surrender monkeys." Or maybe we could call them "Captain Obvious and the Surrenderers". . .What a great name for a band. . .

The maximum pressure can be exerted by going in and kicking Saddam's ass, liberating the people of Iraq, and proving to Captain Obvious and The Surrenderers that we did the right thing. . .though they'll go on disagreeing indefinitely. . .

This is one of the downsides of a possible war in Iraq. . .the destruction of many of the worlds most significant archaeological sites would be truly terrible. . .comparable to what the Taliban did to the world's largest statues of Buddha several years ago. . .I wonder if planning to avoid these sites are incorporated into an attack. . .since Bahgdad has to be our primary target, hopefully many of these sites will survive unscathed. . .
