Have you ever sat on a committee and watched the overall intelligence in the room go down as members are added? I believe that happens a great deal of the time in our government. Instead of actually doing things to make society better, safer and more productive, governments do things to make themselves bigger, more powerful and more nanny-like. This just proves my point.

A great post over at Chicago Boyz regarding an email conversation between two friends, one from the Left and one from the Right. The majority of my friends are Left-leaning, some falling, and this is the kind of interesting discussions friends ought to have. But we don't, and I'm not sure why. I do have them with my girlfriend a lot and I love that.

This is one of those entries where you think you have something to say but you're just not sure what. Ack.
