The Utah Arts Council's Visual Arts Program announces its upcoming workshop, Accounting, Taxes and Copyright Law, which will be held Tuesday, February 17, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Artist Resource Center, 310 South Rio Grande Street (455 West), Salt Lake City.
5:06:35 PM
Just in time for tax season, come hear Krista Baker, CPA, and Tyler Ayres, Copyright Lawyer. Artists doing their own taxes this year can learn the specifics from Ms. Baker, an accountant who understands artists and the self-employed; and Mr. Ayres returns to talk about what is involved in copyrighting artwork. The workshop has no registration fee, but seating is limited, so please call to reserve a seat.
For more information or to register, contact Laura Durham, Visual Arts Program Assistant Coordinator, at (801) 533-3582 or ldurham@utah.gov
