The latest issue of the VRmag newsletter has arrived. What is VRmag? VRMag is an interactive publication about international events and geographical locations around the globe. Step into the first multimedia magazine dedicated to virtual reality; to enhance your virtual exploration, all articles are supported by QuickTime VR Technology such as QTVR Objects and cubic VRs as well as video, experimental video (VRSCOPE) and original, environmental audio.
The March issue of VRmag is rich with new VR and current events-related material:
- A bevy of sites relating to the threat of war and terrible side-effects
of wars
- Interview with Dave Krick, aka the VR Purist
- Tito Dupret’s mission with his World Heritage (Virtual) Tour
- Alain Hamblenne’s Cubic Color Anaglyphical VRs
- Interview with Kevin Quinn and Clifford VanMeter, in Quicktiming Duo
- Travel to beautiful Budapest with Francois Panchard, go skiing in the
Dolomites via the Latemar Ski Center, virtually visit the The Carli Olive
Museum in Liguria, and tour the otherworldly Bisti Badlands in New Mexico
- Rich Studer discusses software synthethizers
- My column considers how the latitude for creativity shifts when you go from single shot photography to VR photography.
There's even more, so check out VRmag.

Purpose |
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
