Digital Photography Review has an interesting news item: Digital Camera ownership almost mass market". Research reports find that 20% of the population own digital cameras, while 22% is considered the threshold for something to be pervasive.

MacCentral has the news that Tribeworks has released iShell v3, a multimedia authoring tool. This new release provides support for Mac OS X, native XML, Unicode, and MPEG-4. For more background on what iShell is, read this CreativeMac article.
