The description of what security vulnerabilities the QuickTime 7.04 update addresses is here.

There appear to be two QuickTime v7.04 kits; the one Apple first released yesterday morning, and then pulled; and the new one that got posted later in the day:

The following story is confusing as to whether there is an updated QuickTime v7.04 available.

So is there any official statement about which QuickTime v7.04 is golden? How can you tell which is which? I've download the standalone 7.04 kit several times and the date on the installer remains December 20, 2005.
