During the last months I have been involved in compiling, editing, and writing a report on scientific computing. This report has now appeared, both on the net and in printed form. The report tells about computational science in 43 articles written by Finnish research groups. The covered science areas are physics, chemistry, biosciences, engineering, earth sciences, and humanities and social sciences. The report contains a color supplement which illustrates the research articles. This report is the third in the series (and the best so far). Compiling a report of this length is a great task, but rewarding in the end.
