On Sunday appeared my column on managing risks in software development (in Finnish, Varo Hullua Hatuntekijää it-hankkeissa). It is suprisingly difficult to control the situation when a software project starts to fail. An example of this was the Confirm project of American Airlines, which ended in chaos, and cost $165 million.
