Buying a box of 446 songs at iTunes Music Store -- Comment() The Complete U2: "I've been holding out on buying the new U2 song, Vertigo, until the album How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb came out. Then I started taking a look at the box set: The Complete U2. Wow. I found a lot of songs that I wanted and that I didn't have. So I just bit the bullet and bought the full set. 446 songs. 1.4 days of music. 1.99 GB. [...] Sometime during the download of those 446 songs, I got a message from iTunes urging me to back up my music. Good thing that I already do." [x180: james duncan davidson] The iTunes Music Store opened in Finland a month ago. So far I have bought 260 songs, all of them as complete albums. My most recent purchase is - no surprise there - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb by U2. But I have also bought quite a lot of music by much less known artists.

-- Comment() Yesterday was the board meeting of Finnish Operations Research Society FORS, and today was the FORS seminar on optimization. I learned a lot from the seminar, it was a great event. It was a pity there were only about 15 participants.
