Business Intelligence - the new oxymoron (1) Analytics in business applications was invariably a post-processing event - leaving it to the hands of a few, who viewed the distribution of business intelligence as a "political lever" within an organization. Witness the high cost (& failure) of corporate data ware-house projects that fall short primarily due to "datawarehouse politics".
