Dissatisfaction with IT Forrester Research's survey results show companies' dissatisfaction with their IT departments (what else is new?). This is a perennial issue - it hasn't changed in over three decades. It is quite unlikely that it will change in the near future since there are conflicting philosophies, perhaps a quote may elaborate - "One of the fundamental challenges Parkinson sees is that software applications built to support business processes and operations are rigid and "antithetical to agile behavior.
