Tax Planning Well the gov has already spent our "surplus" money. Doesn't take Raleigh too long to go through almost $200 million bucks does it. I've decided to resurrect a better plan for getting teachers a raise...pulled from the mothballs of my 2002 state senate bid. Two questions on the current situation though: 1) Wouldn't it be more fair to return the surplus to the counties in our state from which the money was stolen under the guise of an executive emergency order? 2) If their are any counties still with an open lawsuit against the governor's takings order 2 years ago, wouldn't they be able to get an injunction against distributing any of the surplus funds in question? 6:32:26 PM![]() |
