Multiple Sclerosis-The race for a cure
Jennifer personally knows the effects of Multiple Sclerosis, especially on the family. Her mother and uncle were both diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis years ago. Her uncle used to be a policeman, until MS caused him to be totally disabled. He cannot even speak. Jennifer's mother lost the ability to pick up her foot while she walked, and since then she has not been walking very much. She was diagnosed in her early 40's. Due to lack of excersise, her mother is now losing her muscle. She also has had symptoms of fatigue and depression. MS is hard to diagnose, since symptoms vary from person to person. List the Libertarian Party of Guilford County as your team and Jennifer Medlock as Team Captain. Our tentative fundraising goal for the MS Walk is $200.00 per person. The MS Society Chapter will have an MS Walk T-shirt for you, but we want exposure so our team will be wearing Liberty Penguin T-shirts. Let Jennifer know if you are walking with us, and if you need an LP Cool shirt. They are $12.50 each.
