Barbie Goes Blogging...

Mattel has finally found a clever use for BLOGs in advertising--they launched MyScene.com. The site holds three mocked-up blogs, written by three new doll/characters. The dolls have a bit more street-style than Barbie, and are targetted at some new sensibilities.[Gary Stein at JupiterResearch]

This example of blog marketing actually proceeded Dr. Pepper's Raging Cow. Is there a trend in fictional characters "writing" blogs?
