What's that picture all about? This picture, on my Main site, is of a small box. The box is about 4" tall and made out of clay. It was fired in a kiln with a lot of organic material, which gives it a smoke like color - white to jet black. The top comes off to access the interior which is about 1" deep. The top, sides, and base have pass throughs that allow a cord to tie the lid on. More on the decoration later... So does the piece have a different meaning depending upon what is inside? What if it was empty? had a ring? a note? a tooth? a piece of some one's clothes? 12:36:43 PM
