Psychic Ceramics Looking at the post from yesterday, as well as the ones about sacred geometry, etc...brings up a distinction that I would like to make. There is a difference between what I'll (and probably others) call the physical and the psychic. The physical is that whichcan be empirically verified. It deals with matter and the rules which govern it. The psychic are ideas, emotions, thoughts, feelings. This is the realm that the mind inhabits. Just as mind can be described by physics, so too can physics be described by the mind (I'm thinking of epistemology.) They are two sides of the same coin. They are two ways of "real." Thus, there is no need to try to understand how meta-information (say a prayer written about an object, or certain meaningful proportions) can effect an art piece in a physical way. It effect it is in a psychic way, in an intellectual way, in a way of understanding. (To be clear, we do not need to understand the effect in some sort of paranormal way.) Thus, a container that is meant to hold wedding rings does not need to gain some sort of energy from the rings for the container to have a special meaning. It can be simply associated as an idea for the special meaning to be valid and sound.
