You can get there from here!

OK, from yesterday you got an interesting place and the direction to it from where you are now. (It could be a famous interesting place, or maybe one that is more personal.)

Get a compass and see just where you would be going if you wanted to go there straight away.

Does knowing that if you head off in that direction that you might get there (literally or figuratively) bring an added dimension to your life?

If it is a sacred spot, does it bring a feeling of understanding, or inner piece?

If it is a topical or political spot, does it help set you in the course of history?

If it is a place of cherished memories, do they seem some how closer or more real?

If it is a goal for the future, is your path more clear, your way more focused?

Knowing one's relation to things in the world (both real, things, and conceptual, things) allows for a more complete understanding of one's self.

This week we've looked at ways of displaying, or memorializing, these directions...and we'll see what others we can dig up.

As always, YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary.)
