Bowls of Stars I happened upon an article today about concave surfaces decorated with star charts. I have a wonderful bowl with some seemingly unrelated star designs made by Laurie Childers and it got me thinking... Are there ceramic objects that utilize accurate representations of the stars, moons, and planets? Even if used as merely a decorative pattern, they would contain information. I would think astronomical patterns would be used a lot. Looks like a bit of google to wade through... 1:20:05 PM
