Astronomical Surface Decoration - China, part II Continuing our look into accurately protrayed celestial bodies used as decoration on ceramics- (20 min of heavy googling and I did get a bit further than yesterday.) Painted decorations on Chinese neolithic pottery began with geometric designs but later became more elaborate, including the sun, moon, and stars.
