Astronomical Surface Decoration - China, part II

Continuing our look into accurately protrayed celestial bodies used as decoration on ceramics-

(20 min of heavy googling and I did get a bit further than yesterday.)

Painted decorations on Chinese neolithic pottery began with geometric designs but later became more elaborate, including the sun, moon, and stars. This happened just prior to the use of symbolic hieroglyphics. The Charm of the Remote Past: China's Primitive Colored Pottery
