In the meantime in the Homeland, the fundamentalists are making a farce of freedom and liberty and seem to head for a state along the principles of mullah states.
WSFA"If you're a fan of Alice Walker, now might be a good time to check out one her books from the library. One Alabama lawmaker has proposed a bill that may yank 'The Color Purple', and many other classic works, from public bookshelves.
District 62 Representative, Gerald Allen, says he wants to ban books that, '...sanction, recognize, foster, or promote a lifestyle or actions prohibited by the sodomy and sexual misconduct laws of the state'. Allen says it falls right in line with the proposed ban on gay marriage."
And not content with the pro-militarist media outlets like Fox News, the U.S. military is to beam its own news coverage to millions of Americans.

IndiaDaily: "Sources say, Russia and China have formally joined hands to stop expanding American and European military as well as economic global influences."
Boston: "China's unprecedented rise, fueled by foreign investment and technology, has put the Asian giant on a path to surpass the United States economically by 2025, the author of a new book on China said on Tuesday."
TheInsider: "In 2005 Iran will launch a new oil exchange that is expected to put an end to Western domination of the international oil trade. The US and UK, currently home to the world's largest oil markets, are unlikely to allow Iran to undermine their control of the oil trade without putting up a fight."
So now you know why the Bush administration is pushing for a war with Iran and why Russia and China are still considered strategic enemies. But instead of cooperating and maintaining friendly relations with the rest of the world, the US has entrenched itself in its own feelings of superiority. America is bound to lose this game.
