Bush and his clique have no clue at all. They wreak havoc wherever and whenever they can.
One 'Crisis' after another says BushCo - when the only 'Crisis' is BushCo.
HartfordCourant: "The leader of a new Pentagon espionage unit has resigned shortly after public disclosure that the Defense Department is expanding into clandestine operations traditionally undertaken by the CIA.
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, subordinates said, is pressing ahead with plans for independent Pentagon intelligence operations around the world. The Post disclosed last month that Rumsfeld has reinterpreted U.S. law to grant him broad authority to dispatch clandestine teams into friendly and unfriendly nations, whether or not conventional war is in prospect. Designed to help cure what Rumsfeld described as his 'near-total dependence on CIA', the Strategic Support Branch gathers intelligence alongside newly empowered forces from the military's Joint Special Operations Command."

Guardian: "The White House faced fresh accusations of a clandestine propaganda campaign yesterday after it emerged it granted regular access to a rightwing blogger with a habit of asking President Bush easy questions."
Crooks and Liars has more on this.

Independent: "A coalition of Shia religious parties has won the Iraq election, taking almost half the votes and raising the spectre of Islamic law finding its way into the country's new constitution."
AsiaTimes: "Now it emerges that there is a strong movement in southern Iraq for the establishment of autonomous Shi'ite provinces as a precursor to introducing vilayet-e-faqih (rule by the clergy) in the whole country.
Of these calls for autonomy or federalism, the most disconcerting for US authorities is the call for religious rule. Already, leading Shi'ite clerics in Iraq are pushing for 'Islam to be recognized as the guiding principle of the new constitution'."

Morons.org: "A group of Texas Republicans is trying to make it so that a state commission could quash any prosecution of politicans."
A mob of faith-based spankers, that's what they are.
