Clinton served on Wal-Mart's board of directors for six years when her husband was governor of Arkansas. And the Rose Law Firm, where she was a partner, handled many of the Arkansas-based company's legal affairs.
Clinton had kind words for Wal-Mart as recently as 2004, when she told an audience at the convention of the National Retail Federation that her time on the board 'was a great experience in every respect'."

The propaganda campaign relating to former Yugoslavia and its leader Milosevic has been successful. The war against one of the last remnants of communism was won by NATO. Milosevic was presented as the embodiment of evil. And because the victor only has to point to the atrocities of the loser, nobody dares to contradict. The mainstream media shamelessly drop all pretence of objectivity, which shows the Milosevic trial was a show trial and they got the message.
However, Yugoslavia and the trial are the shame of Europe. And I am not only referring to the complete failure of the Dutch battalions in Srebrenica.
The disruption of Yugoslavia was orchestrated by former German Chancellor Kohl. He initiated the Croatian rebellion and paid for the illegal Croatian army (as a German revanchist he had not forgotten that Croatia was a Nazi ally). Milosevic wanted to keep a Yugoslavian unity and a war began; soon Serbia was seen as the enemy by the Western allies who supported the Albanian and other rebels. During the war atrocities happened on all sides. The NATO bombings included embassies, schools, power stations, bridges, trains. The targets were in many cases civilian; which is a war crime.
After the war Milosevic was kidnapped in an illegal action and brought to the Hague Tribunal. His trial was a political trial. NATO wanted a justification for its own war actions and therefore they exaggerated Milosevic's crimes. All these years they could not get him sentenced and they were getting nowhere. Milosevic's crimes - as President of Yugoslavia - were no greater than those of the Croats or the Bosnian Muslims, or those of NATO. His death is very convenient for the powers that be.
An accusation of Serb concentration camps was proven to be a deliberate hoax, but mainstream media still continue to sell this propaganda. Which does not mean Milosevic is blameless. But if he is on trial for war crimes, other leaders, like Kohl, Bill Clinton and all those responsible for bombing civilian targets in Yugoslavia, should be on trial.
In a short time three people have died at The Hague Tribunal. That raises questions. It was clear a conviction would legally be very difficult. So, has the tribunal helped nature a bit by not allowing Milosevic medical treatment? Milosevic himself feared he was poisoned.
The prime instigator of the atrocities is former German Chancellor Kohl. The rest is a chain of stupidities, miscalculations and crimes on all sides. And what is the result? If there were no NATO troops in Kosovo now, the local Serb population - including Christian monasteries - would be massacred by the Albanians. You can't call this peace.
The Milosevic trial was a travesty. The US does not even accept the jurisdiction of The Hague Tribunal. The intervention in Yugoslavia was a tragedy. The disruption of Yugoslavia by NATO was intentional. The trial was political. It is something we should be deeply ashamed of. To quench the shame the propaganda is doing overtime, to convince us we did the right thing. If Kohl hadn't armed the Croatian rebels this would not have happened.
And it looks like this intervention opened Pandora's box with disastrous results in Afghanistan, Iraq and what next.
