Return of the Archers

The winter league began this week at Wilde Arrow. Jared, Bob and I are signed up and ready to start. So this morning we all made our way over to the archery shop to compete in the first week's shoot.

Just as I suspected, I scored the lowest. Bob purchased a new bow. On of these modern, single cam compound bows. The type you shoot with a release. In the last league he beet me by 1 point. Today alone he scored 21 better than me. Jared was 6 ahead of Bob and in second place overall.

It's going to be a tough 5 weeks. I will be teased almost mercilessly by my fellow competitors. Perhaps they are just better shots than I am. I may have to face that fact. But I'm not used to being the worst in the group. It messes with my head and makes me cranky.........
