No snow reality
Hey, there's no snow on my mountain. Well, at least now where I normally walk. I'd have to go up several thousand feet to get into the white stuff. For such a wet year there has been a real lack of snow on the paths I've walked for the past several months. I am coping with the thought that the boys and I won't get a chance to wade through three foot drifts and struggle just to cover a mile.
To tell the truth, I didn't even need to wear a jacket, my hat or gloves out on the mountain this morning. The temperature had to be well above 40 degrees. What day is it? Really. It felt more like May, or even June. I've changed. Winters have always been painful. But getting outside and being prepared for the cold, and snow, has made winter fun. I find myself wishing for a few more weeks of winter and perhaps a couple of feet of snow...........
