As noted before, I think value-added packaging is an important and often-overlooked product attribute. Good packaging--I mean stuff you keep, not stuff that is only meant to stock the SKU and be discarded, can add quite a bit to the convenience of a product. It can take many forms. I came across one very tiny, but useful example recently. Some inexpensive electronics product I purchased came with a small velcro wrap for the cord, instead of the usual tie wrap. So, you can very easily and quickly lasso the excess cord for neatness and storage.
